R&D+I Challenges

The intervention methodology of the INOVC+ Program foresees the implementation of several interconnected actions, one of which is the identification of technologies and R&D+I needs in companies in the Central Region.

In this context, the strategy outlined involves the dissemination of technologies to markets where there is a high potential for acceptance and effective transfer to the regional economy, through the establishment of concrete and relevant connection points between the entities that make up the INOVC+ partnership and the companies in the Region, with the aim of enhancing the following two initiatives:

Innovation Diagnostics – carrying out innovation diagnostics in companies to identify technological needs that can potentially be met by the research and technology centers of the consortium partners (i.e. technology transfer and/or development of new processes, products or services to be implemented in companies). This activity is aimed at companies that need support in identifying their technological needs.

R&D+I challenges for companies – companies in the Region pose real problems and/or opportunities for solutions to be developed by researchers, R&D+I Centers and the rest of the academic community of the consortium. This activity is aimed at companies with endogenous capabilities to identify their technological needs and R&D challenges.

In practice, companies present problems/needs and opportunities to the INOVC+ partnership, which will be disseminated by the Ecosystem partners according to their respective specialties. After validating and sizing up the problem, these projects will be worked on by the academic and/or scientific community, the results of which will then be presented to companies, free of charge.
