The INOPOL Entrepreneurship Academy provides a range of support services to teachers, researchers, students and other staff who, in the course of their duties, consider that there are intellectual assets that could be protected and consequently valued. In particular:
– Provision of information on IP and the applicable legal framework
– Support in research in IP databases
– Support in preparing applications for different types of IP
– Formalization and management of IP rights allocation processes
The protection process must precede any public communication (posters, theses, articles) or dissemination (conferences, media, internet) of the invention/creation, under penalty of rendering the protection process unfeasible – PROTECT BEFORE DISCLOSING.
To communicate an invention that may be protected by Industrial Property rights, you must fill in the Invention Communication Form.
